Advanced Driver Assistance Systems: The Role of Forward Collision and Lane Departure Safety Features
Two modern developments in car and windshield manufacturing, ADAS (Forward Collision Alert) and LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System) are features that keep you and your passengers safe. The Forward Collision Alert will sound an alarm if you are approaching the vehicle in front of you too closely. It will also automatically slow down your vehicle to prevent a frontal collision. The Lane Departure Warning System alerts you if you are drifting out of your lane or off of the main road.

The sensor is linked through the roof and put on a custom bracket behind the vehicle's rearview mirror.
